Christianity, birth, death and resurrection of our saviour Jesus Christ

Christianity is founded on the birth, death, and resurrection of our saviour Jesus Christ. The gospel which is the power of God unto salvation to anyone that believes, in summary, is the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No single human being on earth received salvation based on works. We obtained salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, by scripture alone, and to the glory of God alone. It justified you with God on the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus on your behalf. Praise the Lord!!

I wrote the above paragraph to build a foundation for what am about to tackle in this post. I have encountered people many times who have been held in captivity over things they heard on the radio, saw on TV, and even read on social media. These things have caused a lot of confusion and disturbances in the lives of Christians hence affecting their walk with God. Hearsays are most at times far different from what actually God says through His word. Anything that goes against scripture must be strongly rejected. Your experience is not the basis for truth; the Bible is. Whatever goes against scripture even if it can turn water to gas must be rejected. God will NEVER contradict Himself by saying something here and saying another thing there. God is not a man that He should lie.

Now the main reason for the post. I have personally heard on radio and even on tv where you have people who claim they have visited Hell and Heaven, were ex witches and wizards, have been in cults and now God has revealed to them these things about to be listed below. They have succeeded in putting fear in people and have drifted people from the truth.
Here are some of them:

1. Ladies who wear trousers will go to hell. Really? Where in the scriptures was it written that ladies that wear trousers will make it to hell? Am I saying ladies should dress anyhow? Absolutely No. The Bible encourages us to dress modestly but never said trouser wearing will take you to hell.

2. Ladies who do not cover their head when praying or in worship is unworthy before God and hence their prayer won’t be heard thereby losing their salvation. Like seriously? Is that what the scripture says?
Am I writing head covering off? Not at all. Head covering has nothing to do with been unworthy before God, God not answering or hearing your prayers neither has it got anything to do with losing salvation. You can cover your head if you wish no problem.

3.Wearing wigs, weave on, putting on makeups, jewellery, artificial nails and many others means you are spiritually married to the devil. Off late I heard if you are a lady and you put on waist beads you are engaged by the devil or satan. Ow like how? Marriage to the devil?
Any scripture to back this notion?

4.I saw heaven and hell and people were doing this and that, I saw so so and so here and doing this and that. Wow! Am I saying God can’t speak in visions? Please No. The question is does it agree with scripture? Will it be in line with scripture after it has been taken through the lens of scripture? God is not a man that He should lie or contradict Himself.

5.Some ladies are not married because they have been married spiritually, hence the spirit of promise and fail. Witches and wizards have created holes in our palm hence when we work we don’t get money in our hands because it will slip through the hole and fall off. That our destinies have been taken from our hands and will suffer to make it in life.
Interesting.Any scriptural backing to this? Will it hold after taking it through scripture?

These are just a few to mention. All am trying to say is, before you believe anything, ask this:
Did the Bible teach this?
After you make it through the lens of the scripture will it stand?

Dear Child of God, Enjoy the liberty you have in Christ. Live for who Christ says you are. Have that notion in mind and walk boldly because Christ in you the hope of glory.

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
Ephesians 4:14 NIV

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.
Colossians 2:8 NIV

Shalom!!!
