Are you willing to Hear The Voice Of God? There can be no intimate relationship without listening to and hearing our Lord and saviour. One great benefit we derive from coming into the fold of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the salvation we receive free from him. After salvation, our minds, ears, and hearts must be ready and willing to hear God speak to us personally.

Brethren, as you communicate and hear the voice or words of your parents so as a child of God you must communicate and hear the voice or words of God and obey it in every department of your life.

Today, many Christians pray and God listens to their prayer but they do not hear the voice or words of God in their lives. If you pray to God and you don’t hear the voice or words of God, then you must analyze your life. If you pray to God and you hear the voice or words of God, you are led by the Spirit of God – Galatians 5:17-18, 25.

NOTE: In the voice of God you hear the words of God and in the word of God you hear the voice of God . So biblically, the voice of God is the word of God. Mathematically, the voice of God = word of God or.
Word of God= voice of God.
So, voice = word or word = voice.

What must I do so that I hear the voice or words of God?

You must get time to read the Bible and pray always early in the morning and late in the evening. You must put your mind on Jesus – Philippians 2:5, you must think about things of God – Colossians 3:1-3, you must meditate about the word of God – Psalms 1:2-3, etc.

You use your ear to hear the voice or words of God and the Holy Spirit is to strengthen you to obey the voice or words of God.
Revelation 2:7a
He (you) who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches (you).

As of today, God speaks to us through different mediums – God speaks to you in words ringing in your heart, in your dream, in your vision, in revelation, in preaching the gospel of God, in situations, in your testimony, in prayer, in praises, in advices, in rules and regulations, and so forth.

According to the Bible, Abraham heard the voice or words of God in vision – Genesis 15: 1 as God promised him that his wife would give birth to her old age.

God sent Angel Gabriel to tell Zechariah that his wife would give birth at her old age and named him John for he would prepare the way of the Lord and make people ready for the Lord – Luke 1:10-15.

God sent Angel Gabriel to tell Mary that the power of the Holy Spirit would overshadow her and get pregnant and give birth to a holy thing to be called JESUS – Luke 1: 26-36.

God warned wise men in a dream not to return to King Herod because he planned to kill baby Jesus – Matthew 2:11.

God sent Angel Gabriel to warn Joseph in a dream to take baby Jesus and his wife Mary to Egypt for King Herod planned to kill baby Jesus and later went to Israel – Matthew 2:19-20.

God warned Joseph in a dream to take baby Jesus and his wife Mary to Nazareth – Matthew 2:22-23.

God spoke to Apostle Paul in prayer that His grace is sufficient for him and His power is made perfect in his weaknesses – 2 Corinthians 12:8-9.

Jesus spoke to Nicodemus that he must be born of water and Spirit – John 3:1-8.

Jesus spoke to Zacchaeus to come down off the tree – Luke 19:1-12.

Jesus spoke to the repented criminal on the cross as a promised to be with Him in Paradise – Luke 23:43.

Do you hear the voice or words of God in your life?

Prayer For Those Willing To Hear The Voice Of God

I thank you, Lord God, for giving me your word of salvation.

Remove every veil from my heart, mind, and ears so that I hear the voice or words of God and obey it.

Strengthen me for me to put my mind on Jesus and meditate on your word daily.
